Beyond the teaching and creating aspect of ASMITHMUSIC, we also manage different artist and ensembles within our organization. If you are looking for an artist or ensemble for your next event, feel free to contact us. We have a roster of singers within each ensemble that are available as soloists for various performances and gigs.
The Sam Bonds Chorale
The Sam Bonds Chorale consists of musicians throughout the DMV area who love Sacred and Inspirational choral music and wish to maintain its legacy, as shown to them by Samuel L. E. Bonds.
Mission:
To help educate the community on the necessity and importance of Sacred and Inspirational Music. By inspiring patrons of the arts to experience music through a variety of concerts, recitals and other creative gatherings, we engage the audience both emotionally and mentally. The chorale works with arrangers and composers in an effort to workshop and premiere new works. It is important that the music of the past and the future have a voice in the present, so that all music can be appreciated. The chorale also seeks to introduce different composers and compositional styles through the various works performed.

The Genesis Music Ministry
The Genesis Music Ministry (Genesis) was founded in 2010 by a group of young people who loved to minister through song and worship God. Their passion for music and the word of God has inspired them to arrange and compose music that will uplift and provide hope for all those that will hear them. For over 10 years, Genesis served as a Young Adult Praise Team at Zion Baptist Church in Washington, DC during their Youth Services. Genesis remains committed to their calling of releasing the word of God everywhere they go, while also combining different genres of music within their sound. The Genesis Music Ministry stands on 1 Corinthians 15:58 which says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of The Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in The Lord.”
If you want to hear original music by The Genesis Music Ministry, you can check them out on all digital streaming platforms! They released their first album called “Love” in October 2022 and were nominated and a top 3 finalist for a Wammie by The Musicianship in January 2023.
